1. Dawn and Joe’s wedding day arrives
In a week that will change lives forever, the morning of the wedding arrives and Dawn worries that Kimâs return will prevent her escape. As Billy reassures Dawn, she’s grateful for his trustworthiness, not knowing that he’s hiding a lie!

2. Graham intervenes
Guilt-ridden Dawn is forced to use the memory of her dad to get Kim out of the way, but Kim’s kindness throws her.
Lucas lets slip to suspicious Graham about Dawn and Billy’s escape plan, so Graham returns to Home Farm to intervene.
Outside the stables, Dawn is trapped when Graham catches her making an incriminating phone call as she packs suitcases into the carâŚ
3. Dawn has doubts
Graham is crushed that Dawn would break Joe’s heart on their wedding day and pushes her to consider that Billy wouldn’t be able to know for definite who attacked him. Dawn begins to have serious doubts about Billy’s version of events.
However, her mind is made up, and Graham snatches her car keys in a desperate attempt to make her stay. Left with no choice, Dawn knocks him unconscious with a shovel and ties him up so he’s unable to leave.
4. Caleb relishes Joe’s downfall
Smug Caleb can’t wait to see Joe’s face when Dawn fails to show at the wedding. He hands Billy a wad of cash to begin his new life, but he isn’t happy about being used by Caleb.
In the Woolpack, Joe’s big speech leaves Caleb festering, but Ruby warns him to behave himself at the wedding.
5. Joe gets a huge shock
Caleb’s contempt for Joe gets him uninvited from the wedding, so he decides to drop a bombshell, telling Joe he’s finally evened the score between them.
As Joe looks on confused, Caleb is gleeful as he reveals that Dawn has left town with Billy and the kids, meaning Joe will never see his unborn child!
6. Jimmy learns the truth
Jimmy feels bitterly betrayed by Caleb and Ruby when he realises they’ve tried to screw him over.
To silence him, Caleb offers him a sweetener of cash on top of his half of the haulage. Caleb’s guilt soon becomes clear, but Ruby is ruthless and businesslike.
7. Bob consoles Jimmy
Finding a morose Jimmy, Bob tries to lift his spirits as he questions his lot in life.
But despite his efforts, Bob realises something much deeper is bothering Jimmy.
