Emmerdale fans are convinced there’s another twist coming, believing Celia Daniels (played by Jaye Griffiths) may have another second secret son lurking in the village. Earlier this month, viewers were shocked to learn that Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) is Celia’s son, and that she has been the mastermind behind the village’s drug operations all along. Fans will recall that April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) was coerced into selling drugs for Ray. But things spiraled out of control for April when her younger brother, Leo (Harvey Rogerson), was rushed to hospital after accidentally taking ecstasy pills she had left at home.
Racked with guilt and fearing for Leo’s life, April prepared to confess everything. It was then that Celia’s true nature emerged. While initially offering April comfort, Celia revealed herself as Ray’s boss. In a chilling exchange later on, Celia verbally tore Ray apart, calling him “a useless, pathetic, weak little man” for allowing April to undermine him. In the same conversation, Ray was revealed as Celia’s adoptive son.
But he might not be the only one. With the introduction of newcomer Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill), fans are now speculating that he could be another one of Celia’s children.
Sharing their speculations online, one wrote: “Hear me out, Ray’s actor is 46, Kev’s actor is 50. Kev has anger issues (like Celia). Ray is called ‘too soft’ and is bullied by Celia, while protecting younger kids. Is Kev the tough but protective big brother who was also abused, but took Ray’s place inside?”
A second agreed: “I do think that Kev is another one of Celia’s criminal sons. If you are starting a gang of children to do your bidding. You don’t just stop at one like Ray. Celia reads like Fagin to me. Plus, I can just see her causing all kinds of problems for Robert over Kev.”
Another echoed: “I bet Kev is evil Celia’s son. #Emmerdale.”

“Let me guess Kev isn’t dying or he’s one of Celia’s ‘sons’ too,” added a fourth, while another said: “I’m still wondering if Kev is going to be Celia’s son because she knew a lot about Robert’s family (even though they are well known).”
Kev’s arrival is set to put an “unhinged spanner in the works” for Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), who recently rekindled their romance.
Next week, Aaron is thrown into emotional chaos when he witnesses Robert and Kev sharing a kiss.
Teasing the fallout, Ryan said: “It’s going to be explosive. Aaron thinks that he and Robert are on the path that they both intended to be on and that all the drama is behind them. Out of nowhere there’s this guy that turns up and then he sees them kissing. It’s a lot for Aaron to take in.”
