Tahj Miles has shared his concern after quitting Death In Paradise.
The actor won audience’s hearts as Marlon Pryce on BBC drama Death In Paradise. As Marlon, Tahj portrayed a character with a criminal past, who finds a new lease of life within the police force, thanks to a rehabilitation scheme and mentor JP Hooper.
Marlon’s journey saw him move to Jamaica to aid his sister’s education, a storyline that paved the way for his exit during the most recent series. The actor’s next venture is in another BBC offering, Mr Loverman, where he will be depicting the role of Daniel, a teenager burdened with worries of his own, and the grandson to Barrington.

Barrington is an older man embroiled in an affair with his closest friend Morris. Speaking candidly to Radio Times about his career move, he said: “When I booked the job, it was just a good feeling to know that I can book something else other than Death in Paradise. But then it was nerve-wracking because I’ve just been in the head of Marlon for four years, so to jump into a whole different character who has his whole different problems and things he has to go through, it was scary.”
Tahj wasn’t the only one to bid farewell to the show; Ralf Little, who stars as DI Neville Parker, also made his exit in the latest series. Don Gilet is set to step into the scene as DI Mervin Wilson, reports Wales Online.

Ralf had previously admitted that leaving the show wasn’t an easy choice for him but it was the best move for his character’s arc.
