1. Kyle seeks answers
Kyle is upset after Cain declares that Graham shouldn’t be trusted, as he’s covering for the man who’s responsible for Amy’s death. The troubled young boy turns up at Home Farm, seeking confirmation that Joe was to blame.
Kim, Joe and Graham are all left unsettled by Kyle’s visit – can they give him any answers?

2. Cain warns off Graham again
Cain later pays his own visit to Home Farm, ordering Graham and the Tates to stay away from Kyle. Joe is irritated by the trouble that Graham has caused by befriending Kyle, so he urges him to remember where his loyalties lie.
Back at home, Cain starts to take his anger out on a distressed Kyle.
3. Kyle starts another fire
Kyle reacts badly to the latest drama and sets the Dingle family’s shed on fire. Cain is horrified to see the blaze and realises that Monty the dog is inside.
Cain rushes into the flames to rescue the Dingles’ beloved pet and then takes him to the vets. As things aren’t looking good, Paddy warns the Dingles to prepare for the worst.
4. Cain gets upset over Monty’s diagnosis
After tests are carried out on Monty, a concerned Paddy reports that the dog has cancer and decisions must be made over his future.
Cain takes Monty for a walk and reflects on how much he wants to help the pooch. It throws his reluctance to help himself into stark contrast. Will this affect how Cain considers his own treatment options?
5. Kev changes his name
Kev complains about Lewis snubbing him, but Charles urges him not to give up hope as he could be a brilliant dad if he’s given the chance.
Later, Kev tries his first big gesture – changing his surname to ‘Barton’ to strike up a better bond with Lewis, but it fails to impress the café co-owner.
6. Ross is dismayed by Lewis’s decision
A persistent Kev opens up to Lewis about his tragic past, claiming that he was partly protecting Lewis from the ‘Townsend’ name when he made his change to ‘Barton’. Ross warns Kev to sling his hook, but Lewis admits that he’s finally ready to give Kev a chance.
After warning Kev that there’ll be serious consequences if he hurts Lewis, a worried Ross reports back to Manpreet. He predicts that it’s only a matter of time before Kev digs his own grave where Lewis is concerned.
7. Kev is accused of a robbery
There’s a disaster at the café when someone breaks in, ransacks the place and steals the cash box. When Lewis and Nicola find the damage, they speculate that Kev is involved.
Kev denies being responsible for the crime, but Lewis doesn’t believe him and their father-son relationship hits rock bottom again.
8. Caleb and Kerry get a wake-up call
Caleb and Kerry discover the human cost of their counterfeit shoe scheme when they find a label sewn into one of the products, which reads: “Help me”. Kerry urges Caleb to tell the police what they’ve found – and Bear makes his own impassioned plea when he finds out what’s going on.
Caleb begs for time to sort out the situation, but Billy is sceptical that he ever intends to do the right thing.
9. Caleb makes a new plan
Caleb assures Kerry that he’s finally told the police about the shoe label, although it remains to be seen whether he’s telling the truth.
The businessman is intrigued when Kammy tells him about the large mark-up on branded car parts compared to non-branded ones. Caleb tells Kerry that this could be the next direction for their dodgy dealings.
10. Mack receives some advice
Mack is honest with Charity about how he doesn’t see a way back from her baby deception.
Kev gives Mack some advice over his vendetta against Ross, suggesting that he shouldn’t do anything stupid.
11. Billy rejects Gabby again
Billy comforts Gabby when he discovers that she’s upset, but she misreads the signals by going in for a kiss.
When Billy pulls away, Gabby rushes off and is embarrassed to have got it wrong.
12. Serena annoys Moira
Serena tactlessly seeks information from Moira about Nate’s murder.
Moira makes it clear that she doesn’t trust the village newcomer – is she right to be suspicious?
