Strictly Come Dancing results spoiler leaves fans fuming as star sent home

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left fuming as the spoiler leaked. This week, the semi-finalists faced a tense battle to secure their position in next week’s grand finale.

Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin, George Clarke and Alexis Warr, Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon, and Karen Carney and Carlos Gu took to the dancefloor for two dances. The couples each performed a choreographed dance for their first time on the dancefloor, before returning for their couples’ choice.

As the live show came to an end, Karen and Carlos topped the leaderboard, with scores of 39 for their first dance and 39 for their second – totalling 78. Amber and Nikita came in second place, with 37 and 40, totalling 77. George and Alexis scored 35 and 37, totalling 72 and placing them in third. But EastEnders star Balvinder and Julian scored 35 and 35, with a grand total of 70, placing her in the bottom two again.

Each week, the Strictly results show, which airs on a Sunday night, is recorded shortly after the live show. Today, an audience member has leaked who left the show, which the Mirror are choosing not to disclose.

But the news hasn’t gone down well with fans who were left fuming as the star missed out on a spot in next week’s final. One said: “As predicted.” “I’m absolutely devastated,” said a second. Meanwhile, a third went on to fume: “The public have got it wrong repeatedly this year…”

Another disgruntled viewer commented: “Absolutely the wrong decision.” “Oh my God,” exclaimed another. Meanwhile, a sixth viewer commented: “It sets up what could be the closest final in years!”

Opening the show, Balvinder danced a salsa with Julian and admitted she had come “a real long way”, having landed in the dance off on five occasions. The EastEnders star and her partner scored 35 for their first round.

West End and Love Island star Amber and Nikita danced the Tango to Higher by Michael Bublé, taking in an impressive 37 from the judges. But things became emotional after Karen’s performance with Carlos, after they danced the Waltz to One Moment In Time by Whitney Houston.

Karen admitted she “crumbled” during the routine after looking at Carlos. But TikTok and YouTube sensation George Clarke left fans and his co-stars gobsmacked with his racy Samba, which saw him rip his jacket off, revealing his ripped torso, with Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke admitting they couldn’t take their eyes off George’s bum.

But the night was also filled with emotion as Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman became one day closer to their exit. The stars announced in October that this will be their final series fronting the show.
