Joe Tate’s shocking revenge plan against Dawn has reportedly been “revealed” — and it involves a deadly murder twist. But the identity of the person set to die will leave viewers absolutely STUNNED…
Emmerdale villain Joe Tate is onto Dawn Taylor after finding out her plan to take him down but she needs to be careful according to a fan theory
Emmerdale fans have ‘rumbled’ what Joe Tate is planning for his fiancée Dawn Taylor – and it’s not looking good.
Joe (Ned Porteous) made his debut on the long-running ITV soap back in 2017. And it’s fair to say it didn’t take him long to cause some drama in the village.
Over the years, Joe has played a part in several big storylines too – from his many feuds to a shock organ-stealing twist, Joe’s time in the Dales has not been short of drama.
And over in the village recently, fiancée Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) has been trying to take Joe down after learning all about his lies and deceit, including setting up Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) sending her to jail.
With the help of Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Moira, Dawn has planned to take everything Joe owns to leave him with nothing. However, in Tuesday’s episode (May 19), Dawn appeared to have second thoughts about the plan after Joe showed his caring side, including being nice to Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) and inviting him to have dinner.
Later on though, Joe spoke to Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) and it was soon revealed that both of them were aware of Dawn’s plan. Graham told Joe: “Very convincing. I had no idea Dawn was such an accomplished liar. She doesn’t have a clue we know what she’s planning behind our backs.”
And now, with the tables turned on Dawn, fans ‘know’ what Joe and Graham are planning for her. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, viewers predicted Dawn could be killed, leading to her reported upcoming soap exit.
“Since they are getting rid of Dawn I think she’ll be killed off,” mused one person. Another added: “I think Joe will be responsible.” A third then chimed in: “True especially now he knows about what she’s been up to.”
In March, it was reported the soap had dropped Olivia Bromley after playing the character Dawn Taylor for the past eight years, with the actress set to film her final scenes later this year.
According to The Sun, her co-stars on the ITV soap have been left furious over her axing, with a source saying: “Olivia is adored by everyone at Emmerdale, so the decision to axe her has not gone down well at all.”
They claimed: “She’s a popular member of the cast, and if they can get rid of Olivia, then the feeling is virtually no one is safe. Olivia understood their decision and is preparing to film her exit in the coming months.“
Emmerdale airs Monday to Friday at 8:00pm on ITV1 and ITVX
