Why are fans still confused?

The confusion did not come from nowhere.

BET’s official House of Payne page is still primarily organised around what it labels Season 12, ending with The Stages of Love, which aired on March 4, 2026. That episode concluded with Calvin making a “bold move for love.” BET’s official series page
