Emmerdale’s Aaron to ‘expose’ John for Mack m.u.r.d.e.r after chilling b.l.o.o.d clue

Emmerdale fans believe Aaron Dingle will be the one to take down evil John Sugden after a string of m.u.r.d.e.r.s. During Thursday night’s episode (August 21), John (Oliver Farnworth) appeared to smash a boulder on Mackenzie Boyd’s head, k.i.l.l.i.n.g him. Now, as fans speculate as to whether Mack is really d.e.a.d or not, others are beginning to think Aaron will be the one to expose his dastardly deeds.

Spoilers for Friday night’s episode have given some clues about what is to happen next. Aaron (Danny Miller) goes to speak to his new husband John, and spots some blood in his van that he is trying to clean up after the attack on Mack (Lawrence Robb).

It appears to confirm fan theories that Aaron will be put the puzzle pieces together and expose John’s evil ways.

Over on Reddit, one fan speculated: “I have a theory of how John may. get caught. Earlier on when he saw Mack’s phone lying on the ground he pocketed it, at no point during the episode did we see him disposing of Mack’s phone.

“I believe people will start to query why Mack’s not come back from London, someone will call his phone which John conveniently still has and Aaron will question why John’s got Mack’s phone.

“Aaron will then find out that Mack’s MIA and slowly start piecing it all together. Then it’s bye bye John.”

It seems as though some answers regarding Mack’s phone will be given in Friday’s episode, as Charity is set to get a text that leaves her devastated.

And John has past form of keeping his victims’ phones and trying to make it seem as though they are still alive, as he did the same with Nate.

Another fan said: “Aaron finding Mack’s phone (maybe it rings when Charity calls it and Aaron hears it and finds it, similar to how John located Mack via Charity calling him) is a good shout.”

Someone else said: “The point you make about the phone might hold up because when his phone was ringing, he never managed to put it on silent – twice. This felt really significant when you consider how easy it is to silence your phone. This could then allow a plot point to be John getting caught with it.”

Fans will have to wait and see if John gets caught – and if Mack is still alive, although the first look episode is already available to stream on ITVX.
