Emmerdale has issued an update on Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) following her departure.
Daisy, who is 22, played the role of Amelia between the years of 2011 and 2024.
Amelia suffered a huge loss in 2023 when her father Dan (Liam Fox) was sent to prison. After he punched a stalker called Lloyd in the face, Dan was horrified to discover the man had died in hospital. He was eventually charged with manslaughter.
In the aftermath, while Amelia was supported by the likes of Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and her daughter’s grandparents Sam and Lydia Dingle (James Hooton and Karen Blick), the village became a lonely place without any blood relatives.
After a brief relationship with abuser Tom King (James Chase), Amelia decided to move to Leicester with Daz Spencer (Mark Jordon).

Almost two years on from her departure, Amelia appears to be living her best life. This week in the ITV soap, her former boyfriend Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) shared with Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) that Amelia is in a new relationship now with someone called Kai.
