Phil Mitchell turned another year older in the latest episode of EastEnders.
The Walford resident was surrounded by his loved ones during Tuesday’s (January 20) instalment of the BBC One soap, which is now available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
Phil was thrown a small party at his home to celebrate his 65th birthday which he “didn’t know know was happening”.
Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) revealed that his young son Raymond Fox (Michael Jose Pomares Calixte) came up with the idea to have the gathering.
As Phil insisted he “didn’t want the fuss”, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) joked: “Come on Phil, you are only 65 once.”

He is the father of five children. His son Matt McFadden’s mother is Sue Marshall. and Angela Bostock is the mother of his daughters Teona and Mollie Jane.
