EastEnders spoilers reveal couple set to finally reunite amid d.r.u.g-dealing drama
It seems romance could be on the cards for Ravi and Priya in EastEnders, as their family drama brings them closer
EastEnders fans have long been hoping that Ravi Gulati and Priya Nandra-Hart will one day rekindle their romance, and it looks like this could be happening sooner rather than later.
Ravi (Aaron Thiara) and Priya (Sophie Levy Khan) were together during their younger years, having welcomed children Davinder (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) and Avani (Aaliyah James) together, but have never been a couple on-screen.
Priya arrived in Walford back in 2023, turning Ravi’s world upside down as she revealed he is the father of 16-year-old Avani. Plenty of drama has ensued since then, but Priya and Ravi have settled their differences and wound up living together with their children in Walford.
There’s been plenty of close calls when it comes to a romance blossoming between the former couple. And upcoming episodes viewers will see sparks fly between the former couple once again.
Spoilers reveal that the pair find themselves embroiled in a passionate moment after a difficult conversation about parenting daughter Avani. Priya confronts Ravi about letting their daughter down, prompting him to promise her he will find a legitimate way to make money for his family.
This leads to the pair agreeing to give their romance another go. However, in true Albert Square-style, things aren’t straightforward.
Despite his promise to Priya, Ravi continues the d.r.u.g-dealing he and Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) have been involved with in recent months.
And things are about to take a dark turn as Kojo (Dayo Koleosho) ends up unknowingly involved in the criminal scheme, after Ravi moves his d.r.u.g operation to his flat, despite Harry’s refusal.
Kojo arrives home from his birthday celebrations to find Okie – one of the d.r.u.g dealers – and his friends inside his flat. Okie, who has befriended Kojo in recent weeks, gives him a pill to calm him down.
George (Colin Salmon) later finds Kojo in a state in the Square and takes him to Phil’s to help him. George becomes certain that Harry is to blame for what’s happened to Kojo.
As Jack (Scott Maslen) springs into action and tries to help, he is left with no choice but to arrest Kojo after discovering he’s taken d.r.u.g.s.
All of the drama leaves Priya and Ravi’s romance looking uncertain, as it looks likely that Ravi’s d.r.u.g-dealing operation could soon come to light. Will the pair’s relationship be over before it has started?
EastEnders airs Monday – Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm.
