Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise returns for its 15th series and the latest chapter of the enduring BBC drama boasts a remarkable roster of guest stars alongside the regular ensemble.

 

Series 15 will witness Don Gilet returning as DI Mervin Wilson, accompanied by Elizabeth Bourgine as Catherine Bordey, Shantol Jackson as Sergeant Naomi Thomas, and Shaquille Ali-Yebuah as Officer Sebastian Rose. Daniel Ward will also make his comeback as Mervin’s newly-discovered half-brother Solomon.

 

The main cast has undergone significant changes, with Commissioner Selwyn Patterson, portrayed by Don Warrington, making his return following a spell away, whilst new addition Sergeant Mattie Fletcher, played by Catherine Garton, joins the squad after Ginny Holder’s departure as Darlene Curtis.

As expected, Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise’s recognisable faces will be accompanied by an array of guest stars, and this year features some particularly notable names, including Gavin & Stacey favourite Steffan Rhodri, who is best recognised for portraying Dave Coaches in the BBC comedy, and Horrible Histories and Miranda actress Sarah Hadland. Horrible Histories performer Sarah Hadland portrays Deborah Shelman in Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise series 15, episode one, becoming the inaugural guest star of the fresh series. Audiences will also recognise Sarah from her portrayal of Trish Collingwood in The Job Lot and Stevie in Miranda, a character she embodied between 2009 and 2015, reports the Express.

She additionally appeared as Linda Radleigh in Waterloo Road and Gillian McGovern in Moving Wallpaper.

In recent years, Sarah featured in Daddy Issues as Rita and as Monic in the television programme Murder, They Hope. She is equally recognised for her comprehensive voice work throughout children’s programming.

 

Steffan Rhodri plays George McCann

Gavin & Stacey favourite Steffan Rhodri portrays George McCann. Steffan is celebrated for his depiction of Dave Coaches in the beloved BBC comedy from 2007 to 2024, when he made his comeback for the Christmas special.

The Swansea-native performer also featured as Lord Hobert Hightower in the House of the Dragon programme, and King Hywel in The Last Kingdom. His additional appearances include Manhunt, Keeping Faith, Steeltown Murders, Fifteen-Love and Dᴇᴀᴛʜ Valley.

 

Harry Potter enthusiasts might also recall Steffan from the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 where he portrayed Reg Cattermole.

Maxine Finch plays Rosalie Dolor

Maxine Finch assumes the character of Rosalie Dolor. Maxine recently featured in the television programme Playing Nice, whilst also appearing in The Bay as Meg Dawson.

 

Additional work encompasses The Devil’s Hour on Amazon and Apple’s Trying alongside BBC’s Moving On.

Soap enthusiasts may remember Maxine from her numerous guest appearances in Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Doctors.

Will portrays Kevin, with his television work including Midsomer Murders, Dalgliesh and Buffering. He is also scheduled to make a guest appearance in series 29 of Silent Witness as Dr Dankford.

Will is also recognised for his theatrical contributions, which earned him an Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Play for his portrayal of Harry Kane in James Graham’s critically praised Dear England.

Louis Davison plays Leo Quinn

Louis assumes the character of Leo Quinn. Louis is most recognised for portraying Prince Edmund in the enormously successful Netflix series Vikings Valhalla.

He has also featured as Geoffrey Charles in Poldark and Parker Whitfield in Holby City. Additionally, he appeared in Find Me in Paris as Simon and recently took on the role of Pte. Harry Farr in the film, The Fallow Few.

BBC Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise series 15 premieres on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 9pm on Friday, January 30.
