At least one major Emmerdale character dies as huge episodes end in tragedy

Even with forewarning, we already know, this is not going to feel great. Not knowing exactly who we’re set to lose from Emmerdale is rather unsettling.
We’ve had it confirmed that Jimmy King’s (Nick Miles) exit will be by crossing over to the other side, which after 22 years in the show feels like we’re losing a family member.
How he meets his maker is still a mystery, but we’re getting whiffs that his death isn’t the only one.
Hauntingly, we’ve also been promised of the deaths that the ‘consequences will have ramifications that will impact villagers’ lives for years to come.’
Signs are pointing towards Jimmy’s death being particularly bleak, so perhaps this is what that’s referring to.

Something happens that leaves a number of residents horrified (Picture: ITV)
He’s got an unhappy wife who’s beginning to contemplate whether the grass is greener, and he learns that Caleb Miligan (William Ash) and Ruby (Beth Cordingly) have betrayed him over the business – having stolen one of his shipments and forced him to sell.
Jimmy begins to question his life, but his pal Bob (Tony Audenshaw) picks up on the fact there’s something more serious going on.
As Jimmy perceives his life is taking a turn, could he reach a crisis point?
And the wedding promo shows Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) switching from a wedding veil to a mourning one.

Could Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) find out about her plan to leave and exact revenge on Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle)?
Could Dawn get desperate, like she recently did when she pointed a gun at Joe, and do something to stop him harassing her, permanently?
Or, and this is the bleakest speculation of the lot, could something happen to her baby?
Whatever is set to befall us, it seems like we should steady ourselves.
