Emmerdale exit ‘sealed’ for April Windsor after life-threatening drug drop twist
Emmerdale's April Windsor could be in grave danger on the ITV soap following a drugs drop off which went seriously awry

In upcoming Emmerdale scenes, April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) volunteers to take on a risky job after Ray Walters (Joe Absolom). pressures Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) into doing it. Later that day, April arrives in a car park for the drug drop, but to her horror, a hooded man demands that she give him the bag. He then pulls out a knife, and April reluctantly hands over the drugs, fearing for her life.
Back in the village, Dylan tries to support a shaken April after her failed drug drop. Dylan tries his best to swallow his concern as he reassures April that Ray will understand the situation. Later on, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) is gutted to hear Dylan never turned up at the hostel he covered the costs for and resolves to ask him to move back in.

Meanwhile, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) is outraged over the decision and tries to get Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) to evict Paddy and Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley). Later on, April and Dylan meet Ray in the woods and admit to losing the drugs. How will villainous Ray react?
Will April be in serious danger? Could she end up leaving the village altogether, fearing Ray may k.i.l.l her? What will He force her to do to earn the lost money back?
Ray actor Joe told Radio Times earlier this month: I really liked the concept of coming into the village as a bad guy.
“He’s this Fagin-type presence, a lot of my scenes end with me peeling off wads of cash to various young actors, their eyes light up and I drive off in my sleek car.”
The star added: “It’s creepy. Ray’s business model is to find vulnerable teenagers who are impressed with cash and gifts and attention, all they have to do is take a rucksack somewhere and they’ll get 50 quid.”
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
