Vinny Dingle in Emmerdale will continue to face a tough time on the ITV soap amid trouble with newcomer Mike. With that, Mike’s real identity is revealed in a police twist, with a crime having been committed.

It seems poor Vinny might not be Mike’s only victim, after a brutal beating this week sure his agenda confirmed. Amid Vinny torn over his sexuality ahead of his wedding to Gabby Thomas, he was left heartbroken when new pal Mike turned out to be someone else.

It comes as Mike’s real identity and his real plan for Vinny was exposed in a violent episode that saw Vinny beaten up. Mike confirmed he wasn’t who he said he was weeks after bonding with Vinny, and soon he demanded a huge amount of money.

Now new spoilers have revealed the plot continued next week, while this week reveals the fallout to Vinny’s attack. On Tuesday night fans saw Mike turn up at Vinny’s home and turn rather threatening with him.

He’d lied to Vinny about his own turmoil, claiming he was hiding his sexuality from his partner only for her to learn the truth and kick him out. For weeks they’ve been messaging before meeting in person, with Vinny under the belief that they were experiencing the same confusion.

But as the pair opened up, Mike was shown claiming there was an attraction between them as Mike accused Vinny of inviting him over to “get him into bed”. Vinny told Mike he wasn’t interested, so Mike aggressively stated: “Bet you couldn’t wait to get those scrawny little paws all over me.”

It’s then that Vinny realised all was not as it seemed and Mike was not the man he thought he was. Mike turned violent, while revealing: “My name’s not Mike and I haven’t got a fiancé who’s going to chuck me out, but you do so you better start listening.”

Suddenly things escalated as Mike threw a terrified Vinny to the ground and violently beat him. The sound of Mike attacking Vinny continued before we saw a weeping Vinny begging him to stop.

As for his agenda, Mike then demanded £10,000 for his silence before making vile jibes at him. Vinny broke down in tears as Mike left having carried out his sickening plan.

But amid the fallout airing this week, Vinny’s turmoil is far from over as revealed in new spoilers for next week. The police coming knocking in a new twist, and we find out Mike’s crime as well as his real identity.

The teasers reveal Mike’s lies, as Vinny is informed that he is in fact a man named Graham who is wanted by police for committing extortion. Vinny is wanting to keep it all quiet given he hasn’t told Gabby the truth about anything, so what will he say given he’s already paid for his silence, and will he admit this to the officers?

It’s revealed Graham goes by the name of Mike and it seems it isn’t just Vinny who has fallen victim to him. So will we be seeing Mike again if the truth comes out, or will Vinny be able to explain the loss of money?
