This is the person who k.i.l.l.ed Dr Todd, and you will be VERY SHOCKED when you realize that this person is the culprit — and it is not Mack or Charity.
Emmerdale has confirmed a new murder mystery as surgeon Dr.Todd was seen dead at the end of Wednesday's episode.
Emmerdale has kicked off a thrilling ‘whodunnit’ as Doctor Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker) has been killed. In recent episodes of the ITV soap, conniving Todd has been absent after starting a new job at a hospital in Sheffield.
However, after Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) told Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) that Todd had sexually assaulted her, he tracked her down following advice from Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill). When Mackenzie confronted Todd at work about raping his wife, she denied all of the claims and continued with her cover story that the incident was consensual and called Charity a liar, which left Mack furious.

Todd then took great pleasure in telling Mack about baby Leyla being Charity and Ross Barton’s (Michael Parr) child, without even thinking that Mack already knew the truth.
As his anger boiled over, Todd was forced to call security and leave her office before seeking solace in a stairwell, where he listened to a voicemail from his struggling wife. Moments later, Todd found Mack, removed her mask, and confronted him.
In a heated exchange, she said that there’s absolutely no way she will get convicted for blackmailing or assaulting Charity, certain that the jury will believe her because she’s a well-respected member of the NHS.
Mack warned Todd to stay away from Charity before a haunting moment aired at the end of the episode that has changed everything.
In a very brief moment, viewers saw Todd lying on the floor in a pool of blood, a camera flashed, signaling she was dead. Did someone kill Todd in a revenge plot? If so, who did it?

Emmerdale fans have been sharing their theories about the culprit, with suspects including Mack, Charity, Todd’s ex-lover Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), and Jacob Sugden (Joe-Warren Plant). However, some fans are convinced Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is Todd’s killer, and here’s why.
Charity recently confirmed that Cain, who is battling prostate cancer, had given her a St Christopher’s necklace as a symbol of protection. He told her to keep it, but that she could give it back to him whenever she needed his help, and he would be there for her.
Did Charity signal for Cain to dispose of Todd? Taking to Facebook, one person wrote: “I think Cain, as he gave her that Saint Christopher whenever she needs a favour x.”
A second shared: “Cain has always had a soft spot for Charity if he killed her”, while a third chimed in: “Cain, I’m saying.”
Another simply predicted: “Cain”, as another predicted on Reddit: “Oh wait, we forgot about Cain and the St Christopher’s necklace. He needs to be a suspect too.”
