Charity Dingle’s secret on Emmerdale could be exposed very soon if a Cain Dingle scene was anything to go by.
She made it clear during Wednesday’s two-hander special episode that she would need him some day “soon”. Viewers know the pregnant character is secretly carrying her own child, and Ross Barton is the father.
Most of the family are under the impression that Charity is carrying the child of her granddaughter Sarah Sugden, and Sarah’s husband Jacob Gallagher. Charity had offered to be a surrogate but after the embryo transfer appeared to not work, Charity got drunk and ended up sleeping with her ex Ross.
It’s been confirmed to viewers, and some characters, that Ross and Charity are the parents. Now, a scene in the latest episode may have hinted the news will be shared with everyone soon.

As Charity was there for her ex Cain amid his cancer battle, he vowed that he would show her the same support should she ever need it. When she hinted something was bothering her, Cain dug for answers but she said nothing.
Instead, she told Cain that some day soon she may need to take him up on his support offer. Of course he has no idea of the betrayal, but he vowed that when the day came, he would stand by her no matter what, with Charity adding she would need him soon.
So is this a major hint, with Charity’s due date drawing closer, that the baby lie is about to be exposed? Will Cain really stick by her once he knows what she’s done?

It comes as Natalie J Robb, who plays Cain’s wife Moira Dingle teased her character could get revenge on villain Joe Tate. The Dingles are back feuding with the family after Joe’s sinister actions, with some of his behaviours yet to be exposed.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, actress Natalie J Robb warned her character Moira was biding her time where revenge on Joe was concerned. Joe set up events that led to Moira being accused of human trafficking before she was then imprisoned for a double murder she did not commit.
Joe has also blackmailed the Sugdens as well as targeting the Dingle family. Moira has sold her farm land to the Tates now, but Natalie made it clear this is no way a defeat, and Moira will be biding her time before she can sort things.
While she admitted there’s no confirmed scenes as of yet that will see Joe targeted, she’s sure it’s all leading to something. Natalie told us: “I guess he’s under her radar, that’s for sure, there’s no two ways about that.
“It is too far, she knows that. But these are little chinks in the armour for her, she’s like right okay, everything’s banked. She wants to sort things out, but it could be something she ends up sitting on, there might be a bit of a waiting game there.”
