Emmerdale fans are convinced what happens next between Dr Caitlin Todd and Charity Dingle after an explicit change of tone.
The surgeon, played by Caroline Harker, is currently blackmailing Charity (Emma Atkins) into giving her £100,000 to keep her secret about baby Leyla’s true parentage under wraps.
Todd’s demand was at first £10,000, but she increased the amount after finding out that Charity had lied to her about being the co-owner of The Woolpack pub.
Charity panicked about where she’d get the money within Todd’s seven day deadline and ended up turning to Kim Tate (Claire King) and asked her to buy her shares in the pub at a discounted price.
Kim didn’t outright confirm if she would accept Charity’s offer but did say that she’d be in touch, which left the concerned landlady hopeful as the last thing she wants to do is say goodbye to the pub.

During Friday’s (May 22) episode, Charity visited Todd and said that she’d get the money but it would take a longer than a week. She also explained to Todd that if she “does something she shouldn’t” once she’s got the cash, she’d “mess her up”.
However, Doctor Todd simply accused Charity of flirting and proceeded to tell her that she’s “attractive” when she’s angry. The exchange didn’t go unnoticed by fans with some ITV viewers convinced the pair will end up sleeping together in an unexpected twist.
Taking to X, formerly know as Twitter, one fan penned: “I really am wondering after today if Caitlin and Charity are gonna end up having hate sex. Especially, after the comment about charity being attractive when she’s angry.What does that have to do with anything? #emmerdale.”
Another shared a picture of the pair alongside the comment: “They should have sex about it #emmerdale.” A third said: “Dr Todd and Charity seem a bit flirty.”

Fans will be aware that Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) and Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) aren’t baby Layla’s biological parents.
Sarah’s grandmother Charity agreed to be a surrogate for the couple but later fell pregnant following a night of passion with ex Ross Barton (Michael Parr) around the time the embryo transfer didn’t take.
Everyone assumed that the baby Charity fell pregnant with was a result of the transfer and Charity is determined to keep her secret quiet in a bid to give Sarah the baby she always wanted.
However, Dr Todd found out the truth about baby Leyla’s parentage by overhearing a suspicious conversation and checking medical records and has been blackmailing Charity ever since but how far will she go to get what she wants?
