Fans of Emmerdale think they know what Tracy Robinson is hiding after some cryptic phone calls.
In the latest episode of the ITV soap we saw her surprised by a call while working in the shop. As she looked down at her phone and saw the caller ID she seemed shocked, before answering the phone in a way that hinted she wasn’t expecting to hear from them.
Her reaction also suggested it was someone known to her. Then in the pub later on, she was distracted by a number of text messages coming through on her phone.
As Nicola King queried who was talking with her Tracy seemed awkward, before covering up who it was. The person then seemed to call Tracy again, with her making her excuses and leaving the table, with Nicola confused.

Fans are now wondering what it was all about, as some predicted who Tracy may have been speaking to. Some believed a past character would return, perhaps Tracy’s ex David Metcalfe, as part of Tracy’s exit.
One fan said online: “I was confused about the Tracy scenes. First she seemed surprised by a call from someone in the shop and then she kept getting messages and then another call in the pub and she wasn’t revealing who it was. Makes me wonder if it’s someone we know and if this will lead to Tracy leaving.”
Another said: “THIS! I was confused too, But then I thought about it, and I think an old face from the village was on the phone to her. It’s not unheard of is it? Look at when Rhona was always on the phone around Corriedale. Could it be David? It’s been a little while since he went, a couple of years I think, and he left under a bit of a cloud so maybe he’s coming back to collect her so the actress can leave?”

A third fan had a different theory, saying: “Let me guess… Tracy has a gambling problem storyline coming?” It comes as new spoilers for next week teased what the messages were about. Spoilers reveal that her sister Vanessa Woodfield uncovers the truth and confronts her sibling.
It will all pave the way for Tracy’s exit from the show, with actress Amy Walsh currently on maternity leave. Tracy will be offscreen for the duration of Amy’s leave, and it seems next week sets up said departure.
Vanessa will find out her sister has been lying to her about something, with Tracy forced to confess all when Vanessa confronts her about moving house. Tracy feels guilty, but can she make Vanessa understand why she needs to leave the village?
Elsewhere in the village, scenes have made fans think a death looms. Kim Tate’s will plans were a central point of discussion between Joe Tate and Graham Foster. Joe was furious to learn Kim’s updated will would mean Lydia Dingle would receive the Home Farm estate if Kim died.
With Joe acting like Kim was going to die soon with his fury over Home Farm not being left to him, and the focus on Kim’s will, it left fans wondering if it was a hint. Some fans thought it was a bit random to be focusing on what might happen if Kim died, and therefore it could be foreshadowing her being killed off very soon.
