Tyler Perry’s Sistas | Jasmine Is Gone For Good

đź’” Jasmine: Gone, But Not Forgotten

So that’s it. Once and for all, Jasmine is gone.

Let’s just recap for a second. This woman stabbed Gary at that fake wedding, kidnapped him, was ready to kill them both… and in the end, her own man took her out before she could finish the job. Crazy. That grudge ran deep — deeper than anything I’ve seen in a while.

I already accepted back in March, when the finale aired, that she wasn’t coming back. The blood on the wall and the way these writers treat characters we care about? I knew. I was right. Jasmine is officially dead.

It was still something to see her come back one last time, looking as good as she did, confirming she stabbed Gary and then… making the classic villain mistake of monologuing too long before she got shot. What hurts more? That she died like that… or that Hudson’s still walking around? You tell me.

And now Gary’s kids have lost their mom. That’s tough — even though the show can’t seem to keep its own continuity straight about whether it’s one kid or two, or which grandma is alive. Still… seeing her body in that bag just broke me.

I can’t even lie — part of me wanted to stop watching after that. Ruthless TV already quit reviewing Ruthless after Daikon died, and I can’t even blame her. I said I was done with Sistas too… but then I saw my views climbing after last night and here I am, hurting and still watching.

The worst part? Her return was wasted. All she really did was confirm she stabbed Gary — no flashbacks, no dramatic hospital scene, nothing. Just her talking about it while we’re left imagining.

So yeah. It was great to see her again, even if just for a moment. But to see her go out like that? Sad doesn’t even cover it.

That’s it. My baby’s gone. Gone, but not forgotten.

What did y’all think? Were you satisfied with how Jasmine went out? Or do you feel like the writers did her dirty? Let me know.
