“There’s a detail nobody can seem to explain…” — EastEnders viewers are baffled after Chelsea makes a controversial claim about Gray’s victims

A comment made by Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) about Gray Atkins’ (Toby-Alexander Smith) victims in EastEnders has left quite a few fans very confused.
Scenes are currently airing in the BBC One soap that are setting the foundations for Gray’s return to the show.
A couple of days ago, Chelsea and Gray’s son Jordan was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car that was being driven by Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).
Chelsea knows that she will need a fair amount of cash to pay for Jordan’s medical fees, and recently made a comment to sister Libby Fox (Belinda Owusu) about how Gray’s nan Sheila has been sending her cheques for years that she hasn’t cashed in.

In yesterday’s episode, the siblings got into an argument after Chelsea discovered that Libby had checked to see if a phone number belonging to Sheila was still working.
Chelsea pointed out that she’d never want help from someone related to an evil man, and then went on to remind Libby about the three people Gray murdered.
‘Some were my friends, some still with family round here’, Chelsea said.
This comment in particular got a lot of fans talking on social media, due to the fact Chelsea didn’t actually have any strong friendships with any of Gray’s victims.
‘Aight boss’, one user of X wrote yesterday, sharing their confusion.
Shannon said in response: ‘Am I the only one who doesn’t remember Chelsea being friends with Chantelle, Tina or Kush?’.
