SHONA McGarty has ruffled feathers amongst her I’m A Celeb campmates after a short-lived reign as “camp queen”.

The EastEnders actress, 34, was nominated as the camp leader following a public vote, but was forced to step down during last night’s show after breaking contraband rules.

She indulged in a packet of butter, which was thought to have been smuggled in by axed campmate Alex Scott.

As a result of this, Shona was forced to step down as camp leader after just a day in charge – and was replaced by Ruby Wax.

Despite the short-lived stint, Shona certainly made an impact and managed to rile up her fellow campmates.

The Whitney Dean actress was seen donning a DIY crown and a regal dress made out of sleeping bags during her reign, and took the opportunity to boss her co-stars around.

However it didn’t go down well in camp, with Kelly Brook slamming Shona for being false.

In a clip aired on the show’s spin-off, Unpacked, Kelly said: “I’ve realised I actually don’t even know who Shona is, I don’t even know who she is. It’s all a big act.

“See how she reveled in it? She had the crown, then it evolved into the toga, then she’s eating better than us. It’s like Marie Antoinette number two.”

Echoing Kelly’s sentiments, Martin Kemp replied: “The minute she put the crown on, it all went wrong”.

“She went power mad, it went to her head,” confirmed Kelly.

However, Tom Read Wilson then stood up for Shona as he objected: “I can’t think of a queen who would deny themselves a bit of butter. A bit of butter with a royal slice of bread.”

Doubling down, Kelly replied: “But I think the queen would have shared it”.

Things didn’t get much better when Shona’s successor, Ruby, took over the camp and was even more power hungry.

After Shona stepped down, the camp voted Ruby into power, with the presenter quickly declaring: “Things are about to change. No more Mrs Nice Guy!”

Ruby then also made herself a crown and regal outfit, before shouting orders at each of the campmates.

Jack said: “Ruby as leader, pure insanity. The craziest dictatorship I think the world will ever know.”
