🚨 SHOCK: “I never thought that night would end like this…” – A woman who visited Simon Carman’s apartment breaks her silence, as disturbing new details emerge in the Thai murder case
What really happened behind the door of Simon Carman’s apartment in Pattaya?
As the Australian man awaits trial over the alleged killing of 17-year-old Thanchanok Donhomla, new witness accounts and previously reported details are raising fresh questions about the final hours before the teenager’s death.
One woman who says she had visited Carman’s apartment weeks before the incident has now described an unsettling experience she claims she has never been able to forget.
“Something didn’t feel right…”
The woman, identified as Tang Chai, told reporters that she met Simon Carman after a chance encounter and later agreed to visit his apartment as a paying client.
Although she described nothing violent happening during her visit, she said the apartment immediately left her feeling uncomfortable.
“The room didn’t smell good… it was messy,” she recalled.
At the time, she thought little of it.
But everything changed after international headlines reported the death of 17-year-old Thanchanok.
“I couldn’t sleep for three days,” she said, explaining she was terrified after realizing she had previously been inside the same apartment now at the center of a murder investigation.
The timeline prosecutors are examining
According to investigators, Thanchanok was last seen entering Simon Carman’s apartment before she disappeared.
Police allege that the teenager died inside the apartment before her body was later placed inside a suitcase.
CCTV footage released during the investigation allegedly shows Carman leaving the apartment building with a large suitcase strapped to a scooter before traveling to an area near railway tracks, where investigators later recovered the victim’s body.
Authorities say the footage forms an important part of the prosecution’s timeline.
Carman’s version of events
Carman has acknowledged causing the teenager’s death but has claimed he acted after an altercation inside the apartment.
According to his statement to police, a dispute arose over money after the pair communicated using Google Translate. He alleged the teenager threatened him with a knife and demanded cash.
He says he responded by grabbing her neck and later realized she had stopped breathing.
Investigators are continuing to examine that account alongside forensic evidence and witness testimony as the criminal proceedings continue.
An apology… and an attempted flight
After his arrest, Carman recorded a video message expressing sorrow toward the teenager’s family.
In the statement, he apologized for what had happened and acknowledged the pain caused by the tragedy.
Police arrested him at the airport shortly before he was due to board a flight back to Australia after investigators had already begun tracking his movements.
He has since been refused bail after the court concluded he posed a flight risk.
A prison under heavy security
Carman is currently being held at Pattaya Remand Prison while awaiting trial.
Officials say he has initially been housed in a protected hospital unit because of concerns for his personal safety inside the prison system.
If convicted, he could face life imprisonment or, under Thai law, potentially the death penalty.
A case that continues to shock
The death of Thanchanok Donhomla has drawn widespread attention in both Thailand and Australia, with every new development closely followed by the public.
As investigators continue presenting evidence and the court prepares for future hearings, many of the most important questions remain unanswered.
What exactly happened during those final moments inside the apartment?
Will the forensic evidence support the account given by the accused—or reveal a very different sequence of events?
Those answers will ultimately be determined in court as the case moves toward trial.
