“Ross’ Fate Is Finally Revealed…” — The Truth After His Brutal Showdown With Mack Leaves Fans Stunned
Emmerdale's latest episode on Monday sees Mack Boyd attack Ross Barton, with him set to leave him injured at the farm after a showdown, but will Ross be okay after the fall?
Ross in Emmerdale could face a grim fate depending on the fallout to a dramatic showdown with Mack.
The character is confronted by Mack over his betrayal in the latest episode, airing on ITVX and ITV1 on Monday. Mack lures Ross to the farm to take revenge on Ross, over his fling with Mack’s wife Charity Dingle.
Ross and Charity slept together after getting drunk months ago, and Charity fell pregnant with his baby. Charity had agreed to be a surrogate for Sarah and Jacob Sugden, and after welcoming baby Leyla, she kept up the pretence that Leyla was their child.
Leyla is actually the daughter of Ross and Charity, and Mack now knows the truth. Mack decided it was time to take action, and make Ross aware that he knew his secret.
In scenes in Monday’s episode, Mack tricks Ross into thinking he needs his help on the farm. Ross is obviously nervous, after Kev Townsend’s hint that people knew what he’d done.
A rattled Ross checks with Mack that they are cool, and Mack goes along with this. Soon at the farm, it’s clear Mack has something to get off of his chest.
A fight ensues, and things get a little violent. As both characters end up on the barn mezzanine, things get heated and a character is injured. Mack shoves Ross, and sends him flying off of the mezzanine.
With Ross injured and left on the ground below, Monday’s episode leaves Ross’ fate up in the air. Spoilers have kept quiet about what come next, while it is said that Mack will leave an injured Ross behind.
So does Ross die, and how badly is he hurt? Fans will have to watch this week to find out what happens, and whether Mack will admit what he’s done.
That said, none of the spoilers for the rest of this week suggest Ross is dead. Of course soaps are known to keep things hush hush from time to time, omitting details from upcoming spoilers.
But, the fact that none of Ross’ loved ones seem concerned is a massive hint that whatever happens to Ross, he is going nowhere. Actor Mike Parr, who plays Ross, isn’t thought to be leaving, so it seems Ross will live to fight another day.
Wednesday’s episode of the soap will of course fill in any gaps, but it doesn’t look like Ross is leaving or dies, so panic likely over!
