EastEnders have revealed Priya Nandra-Hart's pregnancy secret but some viewers are not convinced her secret lover Max Branning is the father of her unborn child

Priya Nandra-Hart made a shocking discovery during the latest episode of EastEnders.
Fans of the BBC One soap will be aware that Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) has been having a sordid affair with her boss Max Branning (Jake Wood) behind his wife-to-be Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) back.
During Wednesday’s (August 19) episode, Cindy and Kim Fox’s (Tameka Empson) hen dos got off to a bad start when Max overslept after spending the night with Priya.
He spotted multiple missed calls from his fiancée and made excuses when he bumped into her at the café. She seemingly bought Max’s lies and even roped in Priya to help her with the hen do preparations, unaware of their secret romance.

Later on, a guilt-ridden Priya headed to the Boxing Den to meet with on-off lover Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) where he got down on one knee in the ring.
However, Ravi couldn’t help but notice her mind seemed elsewhere. Priya shed a tear and promised to think about his proposal leaving Ravi feeling deflated.
Priya went to tell Max about Ravi’s surprise proposal and insisted they should stop seeing each other, with Max agreeing for everyone’s sake. She reluctantly joined in the celebrations for Cindy and Max’s wedding but things took a turn for the worse.

Cindy tried to get Priya to down a “cheeky” Tequila shot and ignored her protests but the joke was on her when Priya stood up and was sick all over the blushing bride’s pristine hen do outfit.
Before the credits rolled, Priya sneaked into the Queen Vic toilets to take a pregnancy test. As she awaited the result, the soap’s iconic “doof doof” played all but confirming she’s expecting.
While Priya and Max have been enjoying an affair for months, some fans are convinced there will be a twist and the baby’s father will in fact be Ravi.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “The baby will be Ravi’s #Eastenders.” Another added: “I reckon it will end up being Ravi’s. I beg to the soap gods it will be.” A third person said: “I get the feeling it will be Ravi’s.”
However, others are convinced it could be Max’s after a pregnant women was spotted in his bed in the 2027 flashforward episode which aired back in January and gave a glimpse into the future.
One fan penned: “I think this pretty much confirms now that Priya is the pregnant woman in Max’s bed on NYD – although currently it feels way too obvious because we predicted it from the beginning.”
Another added: “And the award for the most obvious thing about the flashforward goes to Priya being in Max’s bed.”
