Fans of EastEnders have predicted that desperate Oscar Branning may turn to s.e.x work in an attempt to pay off threatening Fat Mike and his pals. In last night’s episode (Tuesday, July 29), Oscar offered to pay Mike to ensure the safety of himself and his family as the threats escalated.
Mike agreed, but the price was a steeper one than he could afford – £2000, in this economy?! – leaving Oscar with a lot of work to do. But, with a job on a fruit and veg stall and with little readies to his name, where’s Oscar going to find that kind of money?
A new EastEnders fan theory has hinted that he might turn to s.e.x work in order to make up the funds.

Sharing their thoughts on the storyline on social media, fans speculated on where this all might be headed.
“Anyone else get the vibes they may be heading for a male prostitution storyline with Oscar?” asked one viewer on Reddit.
“That could actually be pretty interesting as a storyline,” another replied.
“i would actually be quite impressed but honestly i think they’re going down more of a thug route,” a third said.
“I would love the bravery to do it. It would have been great if they took Stacey that direction, as a progression of the s.e.x order,” said a fourth. This, in turn, was in reference to Stacey Slater’s own foray into an OnlyFans-style website in 2023.

Oscar turning to s.e.x work seems unlikely, however, given next week’s spoilers. With Mike’s debt still hanging over his head, Oscar takes note of Patrick’s big win on the bookies.
Sneaking into Patrick’s home, Oscar plans on stealing the winnings to pay off Mike. However, he’s caught in the act by Patrick – in the doghouse after arguing with Yolande. Oscar panics, pushing him to the floor. Oscar is horrified when he knocks Patrick unconscious and unresponsive.
