Kelly Brook breaks silence on ‘sweet revenge’ after outing Aitch and Ginge’s I’m a Celeb secret
I'm A Celebrity star Kelly Brook has spoken out after leaving the jungle, admitting she saved the milk bottle sweets secret as her 'trump card' to cause drama
Jungle star Kelly Brook has spoken out about her explosive revelation regarding the milk bottles as she left the camp. Chatting to the Mirror at the celebrity hotel, Kelly declared “I do not feel guilty one bit!”.
She revealed that informing her fellow campmates about her, Ginge and Aitch’s trickery was a calculated move designed to stir things up. Kelly confessed she had been “saving it up” for her exit moment, believing the camp deserved to know about the scheming taking place.
“I kind of secretly had a hunch that maybe I’d leave before Aitch and Ginge, so it was just kind of my little trump card as I left,” she said. Kelly expressed zero remorse about scoffing the treats in the first place – particularly after fellow contestants like Shona McGarty kept the contraband butter for themselves.
Speaking to the Mirror, she said: “I think by dropping little hints that there’s maybe some gameplay there, and things aren’t always how they seem. It’s fun to put the cat amongst the pigeons for five more days. You know, I don’t want them to get bored. Keep them on their toes.”
She was thrilled about making a memorable impact on the jungle, chuckling: “I might be out of the show, but you’ll be talking about me ..don’t worry”, reports the Mirror.
Kelly maintained she felt no guilt about devouring the sweets, especially given Shona’s secrecy over the butter situation. After the EastEnders actress “ate the lot”, she declared: “‘Right, every man for himself.”
She added: “I think after the contraband, we realized that things were entering camp, and maybe more things were entering than maybe were being found. People were kind of being caught out, and also people weren’t sharing the contraband. So that butter should have gone into a nice bowl of rice and shared out between everybody, and it didn’t.
“Shona ate the lot, so the minute she ate the lot, I was like, “Right, every man for himself.” And when we saw those milk bottles, you know, it’s very hard to divide 19 milk bottles between people.”
In addition to Shona keeping quiet about the butter, the camp was previously shaken by Alex Scott using salt on the food. Shona also sneaked in air freshener.
The show’s bosses have already deducted stars for smuggling goods in, and forced Shona to relinquish her role as camp leader.
Kelly also shared how “emotional” it was to see husband Jeremy again after three weeks apart. “I can’t express the emotion I felt, I cried my eyes out. It was amazing,” she said.
She mentioned missing her dog Teddy too. “I’ve received so many updates about him…he’s having the time of his life. He can’t wait to see me and has been watching me on the show every night.”
