Jasmine explodes with rage as EastEnders reveals aftermath of Oscar and Josh betrayal
Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) is left reeling in EastEnders after uncovering the truth about Oscar Branning’s (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) affair with her twin brother Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan).
Oscar, as viewers know, previously dated Jasmine, who went to prison for the murder of biological dad Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey).
While she was behind bars, Oscar was unsure of how he felt about Jasmine, with her villainous behaviour towards estranged mum Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) – not to mention the big lie she told about his dad Max (Jake Wood) – leaving him feeling like he didn’t ever know her at all.
During that time, he connected with Josh, with the two subsequently sleeping together. Little did he know, however, that Josh was Jasmine’s twin brother!
When Jasmine was found not guilty by a jury and released back to the Square, Oscar decided to give her another chance but it was clear that his heart lay with Josh and, despite their best efforts to resist one another, the fling started up once more.
Earlier this week, Josh told Oscar about the mystery surrounding his and Jasmine’s adoptive dad’s death. As viewers will recall, Sandra (Dawn Steele) reckoned Jasmine had a role to play in the patriarch’s demise, through Jasmine was adamant that it was just an accident.
Armed with this discovery, Oscar sought answers from Jasmine, who lashed out in front of the punters in the Vic, smacking her boyfriend across the face.
Feeling humiliated and heartbroken, Oscar headed to see Josh, where passion reignited between the two.
But more conflict arose as Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) witnessed their passionate embrace!
And with Jasmine’s wanting Oscar at her birthday bash – and Zoe having invited Josh – it was only a matter of time before the truth exploded, with Josh confessing his and Oscar’s affair.
New pictures of the scenes to come reveal the immediate aftermath of the revelation, with Jasmine confused as she seeks answers from both Oscar and Josh, with Zoe intervening as tensions explode.
The question is: will Jasmine retaliate?
