ITV Emmerdale spoilers reveal Dr Todd’s new plan for Jacob and it’s sickening
Emmerdale's Dr Todd is set to make things even worse for Jacob next week
Emmerdale spoilers have confirmed what Dr Todd has in store for Jacob Sugden after finding out she reported him to HR.
The evil doctor (Caroline Harker) has been making medical student Jacob’s (Joe-Warren Plant) work a living nightmare in recent weeks. As well as pushing him to his absolute limits, she has been gaslighting him and calling him out over his mistakes.
And recently, she made sick references to the abuse Jacob suffered from Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) a few years back. Thinking enough is enough, this week Jacob decided to raise a formal complaint with Dr Todd’s employers.
He went to HR, explaining that she had been bullying him and it was having a detrimental impact on his well-being. And in Tuesday’s episode (April 21) following the meeting, Dr Todd tried to corner Jacob to ask about the meeting.
Having had enough of her threatening behaviour, and after learning about Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) giving birth in a hospital lift, Jacob finally stood up to Dr Todd in person before trying to find Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill).
Fortunately, Sarah and Jacob’s baby was delivered safely, but things took a seriously worrying turn when Charity was left fighting for her life, after losing a lot of blood. Dr Todd then stepped in to try and help Charity, and rushed her off, leaving her fate unknown.
And while Jacob will no doubt be grateful for Dr Todd’s help, spoilers have revealed she is to continue her vile behaviour next week.
In Thursday’s episode (April 30) Jacob is finding it awkward with Dr Todd ever present. Later, Vanessa, Dr Todd, and Manpreet are all bonding in the pub when Mary suggests a doubles darts match and puts Todd and Vanessa on the same team.
As the match commences, Vanessa’s oblivious to Todd’s flirting. But Todd later uses the opportunity to sew some untruths about Jacob. The next day Todd continues her subtle manipulations of people’s opinions of Jacob.
