Last night she announced that she and new husband Adam Whitehead are expecting their first baby just months after their wedding.
But now Isabel has hinted that she may be leaving the soap to focus on being a mum.
She told the Mirror: “I will miss it. I love the people there, but I’ve worked there for 19 years, so I feel like I’ve done what I’ve wanted to do and been selfish with my career.
“Now, it’s time to devote my life to being a mum, that feels right to me. But there’s still FaceTime, so they won’t forget me!”
The actress announced she was expecting her first child last night in an emotional Instagram post.
She captioned the picture of her holding the scan with: “First comes love, Then comes marriage, Then comes… Baby Whitehead ❤️.”
Isabel’s co-stars rushed to congratulate her.
Mandy Dingle star Lisa Riley said: “Congratulations-absolutely wonderful news 💛💛💛 made up for you both.”
Daisy Campbell said: “Omg iz!! So happy for you both, big congratulations!”
And former co-star Charley Webb commented: “Cutest.”
The ITV screen star said I Do to partner Adam Whitehead in a stunning ceremony in Manchester, earlier this year, after it was confirmed her “affair partner” made the guest list.
On-screen, Isabel, 31, has played Emmerdale’s Victoria Sugden since 2006 – and the beauty confirmed a host of her co-stars had witnessed their nuptials at the city’s Castlefield Rooms in April.
She let slip details of her special day a month on, including the 63-strong guest list, how she did her own speech and that Adam even forgot her name during the vows.
In 2023, Isabel announced she was engaged to her boyfriend.
And two years later they made it down the aisle watched by her co-stars.
Eden Taylor Draper was a bridesmaid while Danny Miller, Mark Jordon, Laura Norton, Jeff Hordley and Zoë Henry were all in attendance.
