Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ what’s hidden in 107 storage unit that will save Moira
Emmerdale's Moira Dingle is facing life in prison but fans have "worked out" a jaw-dropping twist in relation to the 'HSU107' key Paddy Kirk and Marlon Dingle found
Moira Dingle is currently in jail for a crime she didn’t commit in Emmerdale.
The key to saving her from spending the rest of her prison is laying in the grounds of evil Celia Daniels’ (Jaye Griffiths) old farm but no one knows about it yet.
Fans will be aware Celia was killed by her son Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) at the start of this year and buried her body on land belonging to Butler’s Farm.
Right beside Celia’s shallow grave was another one hiding refugee Anya Berisha (Alia Al-Shabibi) body.
Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly), who knew Anya, began to suspect that the young woman was dead after a comment from Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards).
She found the grave and called the police, but had no idea that they’d discover another body nearby. As a result of the grim discoveries on her land, Moira is facing a double murder charge.
In a jaw-dropping twist, a plan created by Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) has meant Moira is also potentially going to be sentenced for modern slavery.
Joe ordered Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) to plant the ID cards from Celia’s house in Butler’s Farm which meant it looked like Moira had something to do with the horror that went on at Celia’s farm.
There was unfortunately no evidence to prove Moira is innocent but that all changed during Friday’s (April 3) episode of the ITV soap opera.
During the special two-parter instalment, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) headed to Celia’s farm on their quest to confront their inner demons.
Outside the house was a huge pile of furniture items, which Paddy and Marlon proceeded to smash up.
The two men discussed how they handled the situation with Celia and Ray and were seen smashing chairs and tables to pieces.
As they reflected on the torture that occurred at Celia’s farm, Marlon, who’s daughter April Windsor was groomed by Ceila and Ray, spotted a key with a label on that said ‘HSU107’.
Due to the fact the police had already turned the place over, Marlon and Paddy concluded that the key probably wasn’t important.
Back in central Hotten, the camera switched to a storage facility and the contents of unit 107 which was completely packed full of paperwork which fans believe prove Moira’s innocence.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Is Hotten Storage Unit 107 full of evidence that could clear Moira? Am I really meant to believe that the police emptied Celia and Ray’s farmhouse and didn’t find those key tags? Weak sauce #Emmerdale. I do appreciate the use of a two handers which makes for better story-telling.”
Another added: “Apart from Marlon and Paddy, what on earth is container 107 all about and why have DS Idiot and her cronies missed the evidence that could set Moira free and yet it’s taken us from Christmas to Easter to reveal this #JusticeforMoiraDingle #Emmerdale.”
A third person said: “Omg I was shouting don’t leave the key there!!!!! It’s got everything to get Moira off, I hope that lock place is found by someone.” Someone else added: “I couldn’t believe it at the end …. The police must have been walking around with their eyes shut.”
Fans will have to wait and see when and who finds the important key which will most likely help be Moira freed from jail.
