It was another dramatic night in Emmerdale tonight, as k.i.l.l.e.r John Sugden covered his tracks after he appeared to to m.u.r.d.e.r Mack on Thursday night.
In harrowing scenes, John was seen shooting Mack with a bow and arrow, before violently crushing his head with a rock. Although Mack’s body wasn’t seen – viewers did see a body under a blanket in the back of John’s van. However, some fans are convinced it’s someone else’s.
During tonight’s episode, John appeared to be burying a body in the woods, and covering something up with leaves. Some fans think there’s a huge twist ahead, and it’s not Mack’s body after all…

“Long shot but what if the body in the woods is Anthony and not Mack? K.i.l.l.i.n.g off Mack would be mental even for these writers,” wrote one fan.
“We haven’t seen a body. Just saying,” said another fan with one replying, “Or Anthony’s…”
“So John buried Mack under a pile of leaves?” questioned another. Knowing the wind would blow them away and his ‘body’ would be discovered?? and somehow Mack’s blood got inside on the drivers side??? there’s a twist somewhere. got to be surely????”
Anthony was k.i.l.l.e.d by his daughter Ruby Milligan, after Aaron Dingle believed he was the k.i.l.l.e.r after beating him up in a d.e.a.d.l.y showdown. John was the one who disposed of the body – but he never revealed where he actually hid it.
It comes after yesterday’s episode where fans believed Mack was still alive after a suspected ‘shock twist’ in the ITV soap.

One hopeful fan penned: “Mack’s not d.e.a.d til body turns up, fake out coming.” Another questioned: “Is Mack d.e.a.d or not? Will we find out tomorrow? I think that he will live.”
Others went digging even further, as someone else wrote: “No goodbye video from the official Emmerdale account which makes me a bit suspicious. MAYBE just maybe – Mack is lying unconscious in John’s van and the he will be kept hostage for a few weeks until we see him again?”
Of course, none of the villagers believe Mack has been m.u.r.d.e.r.e.d, as in tonight’s episode, Charity was left devastated when she received a message from Mack. Viewers of course, know it was John who sent the message.
In the cunning message from John, he made out that Mack had fled the village and decided to end his marriage with his pregnant wife Charity, making it clear he wouldn’t contact again.
But how will things unfold and will John be caught?
