Emmerdale fans are certain they know what Dawn Taylor will call her baby.
Dawn (Olivia Bromley) made her debut on the long-running show back in 2018. And it didn’t take her long to get involved in several big storylines in the famous village.
From curbing her drug addiction and turning to sex work, Dawn’s time in the village has not been short of drama. Especially this week, as a pregnant Dawn found herself caught up in a car crash while on her wedding day to fiancé Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).
Fans will recall that on the day of their wedding, she initially made a run for it with Billy Mayhew (Jay Kontzle) and their kids. But after realising Billy’s lies, she headed back to the village to marry Joe.

However, just as Dawn arrived to see a devastated Joe at their wedding marquee, Jimmy King (Nick Miles) crashed his car into the marquee, leaving the three of them fighting for their lives.
In Thursday’s episode (August 27), Dawn managed to regain consciousness and attended to Joe, who was trapped under debris. Jimmy’s wife Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) then arrived at the marquee and was left horrified to see Jimmy in the wrecked car. Although he seemed fine at first, Jimmy grew progressively worse.

And in heartbreaking scenes, Jimmy took his last breath and died with Nicola by his side. But the drama didn’t end there though, as after noticing petrol leaking and an open flame nearby, a stuck Joe told Dawn to get out before it exploded.
He ordered Dawn to save herself and their baby and Dawn then escaped and headed outside where the other villagers had started to arrive.
However, just as Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) was about to rush in to save Joe, the wedding marquee exploded into flames.

The shock twist left many Emmerdale fans floored with many convinced it was going to be Dawn who gets killed off during the episode, especially following previous reports that the actress was leaving.
Now, with Dawn and her unborn baby looking likely to survive the week, fans have ‘worked out’ what she’ll call her baby. One person on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page: “If Dawn makes it out alive she’ll call her baby Jimmy I’m sure of it.” “That would be sweet.” A third chimed in: “Or maybe Kim [Tate] if it’s a girl?”
