Emmerdale and Corrie siblings say ‘we did it’ in huge achievement
Emmerdale's Amelia Flanagan and Coronation Street's Isabella Flanagan teamed up for a challenge

Coronation Street’s Isabella Flanagan, who portrays Hope Dobbs, and Emmerdale’s Amelia Flanagan, known for her role as April Windsor, have celebrated a significant joint achievement. The talented pair, who are sisters, recently exclaimed ‘we did it’ as they shared their accomplishment.
Amelia has been captivating audiences as April since 2014, earning numerous awards for her performances, including the best young performer award at the 2025 Inside Soap Awards just this week.
Bella, on the other hand, joined the iconic Dobbs family on Corrie in 2017, sharing the screen with her twin brother, William, who plays Joseph Brown in Weatherfield.
In a past interview, Bella revealed that her older sister inspired her to pursue acting. She said: “I’ve wanted to be on TV for a long time, my sister has been in Emmerdale since she was five and I love watching her.”
She added: “My audition [for Corrie] was a really fun script and I was so excited when Ology [casting agency] rang my mum to give us the good news [she got the role].”, reports the Manchester Evening News.
While the sisters don’t share screen time, they teamed up off-screen for a charity climb over the weekend.
The soap star siblings tackled Mount Snowdon as part of ‘team Lewis’, raising crucial funds for Alder Hey Children’s Charity. As stated on the Just Giving page: “Lewis is now 21 surgeries down, hundreds of appointments and thousands of miles travelled in the car to Alder Hey.
“Last year he decided he wanted to climb Snowdon, this is not going to be easy for Lewis as he is not great on his feet, but he is adamant he wants to take on this challenge to give back to the hospital that have truly helped him become the amazing young man he is today.”
The message on the fundraising page reads: “A fantastic group of friends and family are joining us to try and encourage Lewis to keep going. Alder Hey Children’s Hospital is a truly inspirational place with amazing surgeons, nurses and staff who have always made us all feel so welcome and cared so well for Lewis over the years. Thank you as always for your support.”

After successfully completing the climb, Amelia posted on Instagram from the summit of Snowdon, exclaiming: “We did it! !”.
Rachel, mother to Amelia and Bella, also updated her Instagram followers about the charity event, revealing William’s participation.
Her post included a video with the caption: “The most amazing day raising money for @alderhey with @teamlewischallenges So many people came together and climbed Snowdon if you wanted to still donate link is in my bio……. @ameliaflanagan08 @bellaflanaganofficial_ @will.flanagan.official @ramseyhelen @donnaconnett74 @johnconnett.”
