EastEnders Teddy future ‘sealed’ as fans say he won’t be jailed for Okie’s m.u.r.d.e.r

EastEnders baddie Okie has met his demise after being fatally wounded by Harry Mitchell in an accidental stabbing during a scuffle.
Viewers of the BBC drama will recall that Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) had taken Harry (Elijah Holloway) captive following threats to reveal Ravi Gulati’s (Aaron Thiara) narcotics enterprise.
Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) managed to assist in freeing Harry, who subsequently informed authorities about Okie and Ravi’s illicit activities.
During Tuesday’s episode (November 11), Okie menaced Kojo, demanding details about his police statement and ordering him to contact Harry. Battling withdrawal symptoms, Harry was en route to meet a drug supplier when Kojo’s message intercepted him.

Upon arrival, Harry discovered Okie brandishing a blade at Kojo and immediately rushed to defend his mate. Kojo escaped before violence erupted between Harry and Okie, culminating in Harry inadvertently stabbing his adversary, reports OK!.
Harry consoled the dying Okie, whose final words were: “I just want my mum, man”, leaving Harry utterly stunned.
Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) quickly appeared at the location and escorted Harry back home.
Both Teddy and Harry’s mother, Nicola (Laura Doddington), swiftly devised plans to conceal their son’s accidental k.i.l.l.i.n.g, despite Harry’s insistence on contacting the authorities.

Just as Harry prepared to admit to the fatal stabbing, his father returned to the residence and rang the police, devastating Harry as Teddy faced arrest.
Meanwhile, Kojo revealed to his elder brother, George Knight (played by Colin Salmon), the chilling threat Okie made to stab him and how Harry intervened to save his life.
EastEnders enthusiasts are now speculating that Kojo will come clean to the police about the circumstances surrounding Okie’s d.e.a.t.h, potentially freeing Harry and Teddy from any blame for his demise.
One fan took to Facebook to share their theory: “I thought Kojo would save Teddy from prison because he witnessed what happened, but it was self-defence.”

Another chimed in with: “Really hope Teddy isn’t leaving and it leads to a self-defence court case for the Xmas episodes.”
A third viewer predicted: “I don’t think this has finished yet, Kojo will tell the police what happened and Harry will get off as it was self-defence. Teddy might get charged with perverting the course of justice.”
“If Walford Police have any credibility, they will know through forensics it wasn’t him, but previous history tells us they are clueless, especially with Jack leading the way”, one fan pointed out.

Another viewer also speculated that Teddy wouldn’t be held responsible for Okie’s m.u.r.d.e.r, writing: “But…No blood on him and no blood anywhere else as he didn’t wash his hands (can’t pretend he did). Probably no DNA from Teddy on Okie.
“No Okie fingerprints on the knife, just Teddy, but he might admit wiping it and say Harry grabbed it? Delay between stabbing and phone call, needs explanation.”
They further commented: “Kojo will say he saw Harry fighting Okie but didn’t tell anyone (until much later) how did Teddy know he was there? I don’t think it will necessarily be a straightforward case just because he admitted it.”
