Scenes on EastEnders have left fans convinced they know who newcomer Jasmine really is.
Moments that have aired recently, including in Monday’s episode of the BBC soap, have sparked suspicions that she is linked somehow to none other than Cindy Beale. With her asking questions about Cindy and appearing to made nods to the past, fans believe Jasmine will be exposed as either a secret child of the Walford legend, or she may share a link to Cindy’s past dealings with Jackie Ford.
Fans may recall Jackie was the cellmate Cindy informed on, leading to her going into witness protection and faking her death. Cindy had feared Jackie was out to get her and may even have caused the death of her daughter Lucy Beale, while soon she revealed this was not the case.
But is Jasmine linked to Jackie, and is that why she’s so interested in Cindy? Could Jasmine’s new friendship with Cindy’s daughter Gina Knight tease a DNA bombshell?

One fan speculated: “Could Jasmine be Cindy Jrs kid? That would explain her Cindy obsession.” Another fan said: “Jasmine is definitely something to do with Cindy.”
A third viewer posted: “Right I’m saying it. Jasmine is Cindy’s long last daughter!!!!” Another theory read: “I’m sticking with the Jackie Ford theory for now. We can rule out the Zoe one I think.”
A further tweet read: “Jasmine and all the interest in Cindy / Rose?” One more comment said: “Jasmine asking if Cindy has had other names, it’s giving she’s either connected to Jackie Ford or She’s another kid of Cindy’s.”
It comes after some viewers believed she could be the secret daughter of Zoe Slater. Zoe welcomed twins in 2006 while away from Walford, while sadly it was suggested the baby girl died shortly after her birth.

Zoe claimed her son had been adopted and she’s now desperate to find him. But fans wondered whether the daughter survived, and could be Jasmine.
A fan said: “Still convinced Jasmine is Zoe & Anthony’s girl – but the Cindy misdirect has been laid on thick.” Another viewer posted” “I’m more than certain that Jasmine is going to be who we think she is,” meaning Zoe.
This latter tweet is due to something that happened on Monday’s episode, with many wondering if it was a nod to a past scene involving Ronnie Mitchell and her secret daughter Danielle. But could they be on to something?
