EastEnders fans left fearing for Honey as Bea launches ‘nasty plan to ruin her life’
Fans of the BBC soap are concerned for Honey Mitchell's future on Albert Square as recent scenes see her begin to fall under Bea's spell with major consequences
EastEnders fans are convinced Bea has Honey in her trap and has already started to “ruin” her life. In scenes that aired tonight, Bea and Honey had a wild night out, which ultimately puts Honey in a precarious situation.
Having wormed her way into working at the Minute Mart, Bea (Ronni Ancona) came face to face with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), whose brusque nature rubbed the newcomer up the wrong way. Bea seemed intent on taking down Suki, but fans now wonder if it’s Honey (Emma Barton) she wants to destroy.
In tonight’s episode, Bea convinced Honey to get drunk on the Minute Mart’s CCTV with stolen alcohol and then mined Honey for secrets about Suki. As she did, she kept trying to convince Honey to sue the Panesars, and after finding out Suki had kissed Honey and then threatened to fire her years ago, she helped Honey write a scathing email full of insults and demanding compensation.

A drunk Honey sent the email before passing out, and, as such, her job may be at risk when she wakes up. While Bea looked concerned, fans wondered if this was her plan all along.
“Bea is actually going to ruin Honey’s life, and this episode made it clear,” one wrote. “She will isolate her from everyone and take over. There’s no reason for her to be interfering in Honey’s life. She’s not a sociopath or a psychopath, but she’s something in between. Interesting to see where that leads.”
Another added that they thought Bea’s plan was even more sinister, and if her real end goal was to steal Honey’s identity. “I’m going down a route of Bea trying to steal Honey’s identity, or Bea is going to go as far as to BE/act like Honey.” They pointed out that Bea is already changing subtle things about herself to match Honey. “We already have the same hairstyle, but opposite side looks…”
Others agreed, with one pointing out that Nigel was calling Bea “Honey” because they look similar. Another noticed how Bea seemed to be physically taking spaces that Honey usually would.
“Notice how she was sat next to Billy in the Vic while Honey was sat opposite the pair of them,” they said. “Clutching at straws, or was that done deliberately?”
A third simply said that Bea’s actions already point towards her eventually committing a crime. “With Bea having a nasty side, paying kids to wreck the shop, I just deep down feel she’s going to commit a crime and pin it on Honey.”
Fans have noticed the physical similarities between Bea and Honey, and previously wondered if Bea and Honey could be sisters. A viewer said: “I need Bea to secretly be related to Honey and I don’t even know why,” as another wrote: “Honey and Bea could be sisters.”
Another fan said: “Wouldn’t it be something if Bea and Honey did turn out to be sisters, especially with the names in this order? Honey Bea!” One fan added: “Why is Bea a carbon copy of Honey? This is clearly deliberate. I’m so confused.” Meanwhile, one viewer was torn over both theories.
They said: “I can’t help but think there’s something weird going on like she seems really funny, but is it gonna be something sinister? She seems to be attached to Honey, so maybe she gets obsessed with her, or maybe they end up being related to each other or something.”
