EastEnders ‘fail’ as character spotted in Walford despite leaving show weeks ago
EastEnders fans spotted a major continuity error when Will Mitchell appeared in Walford to film Nugget's seizure despite supposedly being on holiday with Billy and Honey Mitchell's family

EastEnders viewers were left baffled when a character made a sudden return to Walford despite supposedly having departed Albert Square a while back. The BBC soap delivered some perplexing scenes during a fresh storyline involving Billy and Honey Mitchell.
Billy, spouse Honey and their kids Will and Janet had been enjoying an extended break together. Newcomer Bea was minding the house for the family since their departure on February 12th.
However, BBC fans have been left scratching their heads as despite their supposed getaway, the family’s lad Will made a startling cameo in Walford when he was supposed to be away. When Nugget suffered a fit in McClunky’s, Will was present to capture it on camera despite being away on holiday with his relatives.
Viewers were swift to highlight the apparent “blunder” and one fan posted on social media: “So according to today Will is on the (ridiculously long) holiday with his family – did he just pop back for the day the other week so he could film Nugget’s seizure?! I’m becoming disproportionately obsessed with how little sense all this makes,” reports the Mirror.
“So now Will is on holiday with his family? So why was he in Walford to silently stand by and record Nugget’s seizure, which went absolutely nowhere?,” a second person wrote.
A third said: “Bea mentioned all four of them were on holiday at the moment so how was Will in McClunky’s filming Nugget’s seizure?! Silly. Maybe his first storyline will be about his ability to teleport.”
“I assumed there would be some follow up with it going viral but if so it hasn’t happened yet. I still want to know if Will is staying on his own with Bea and if so I want to see those scenes!” a fourth added.
After the incident involving Nugget, the youngster received an epilepsy diagnosis. Executive Producer Ben Wadey said of the storyline: “We are committed to portraying Nugget’s journey authentically and with sensitivity.”
“So [we] have sought advice from Epilepsy Society to ensure an accurate representation of the challenges a young person may face following their diagnosis.”
