EastEnders character makes unexpected comeback two years after quitting soap as she issues stark warning to Chelsea
AN EastEnders character made an unexpected return to Albert Square two years after leaving Walford, arriving with a stark warning for Chelsea Fox.
The surprise comeback threatens to shake things up for Chelsea, as the returning character brings some unsettling words that could have major consequences.
Lorraine Stanley returned as Karen Taylor in Monday’s episode of EastEnders.
Karen is heard on the phone delivering a stark warning to Chelsea, unaware that the conversation is being overheard by the children, Raymond and Jordan.
Karen said: “I would give that Sheila a very wide birth, alright?
“She was always close to Gray. Could do no wrong in her eyes.
“She tried to get in touch with Mack and Mia a few times, but as far as I’m concerned, inviting her into your life is the same as inviting Gray.”
This comes after Gray’s mother, Sheila, met Chelsea and Libby Fox about cashing in a cheque she previously sent Jordan.
Chelsea was thinking of accepting it after Jordan’s accident, as he will need a wheelchair.
However, she had a change of heart and sent Sheila away, not wanting any part of Gray in Jordan’s life.
Libby protested as her sister needs the money. Will she change her mind?
Meanwhile, Karen advice comes after her daughter Chantelle was married to Gray and was killed by him.
Karen officially left EastEnders on December 8, 2023, when she fled Walford for Spain with Mitch Baker after taking the blame for the fake kidnapping of Albie Watts.
The character has popped back for brief guest appearances since then.
She returned in June 2024 for her son Keanu’s funeral and to investigate his death before leaving the square again.
With her recent contact with Chelsea, could we see her in the Square again?
