The roles of doctor and patient have reversed for Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) in Emmerdale, and he’s finding things difficult.
The beloved character told Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) a few days ago that he’s being tested for prostate cancer, after struggling with some concerning symptoms.
Liam put off telling someone about his health worries time and time again.
However, after Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) found him using the water cooler as a closer alternative to the bathroom, she demanded the GP stepped into her office for an appointment.
Next week, Liam remains anxious as he waits for his test results. He really needs Chas’ support, but she spends quite a few days distracted by other family drama.
Elsewhere, Belle Dingle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) relationship with Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) continues to progress. It’s all sweet and lovely so the characters decide to take the next step – but have they acted in haste?
A new feud also begins soon, involving the Kings and Tates. When Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) gets word that young Carl has started hanging out with Clemmie, she cannot cope with her son being mates with a Tate and resolves to do something about it.
Also, Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) discovers an update regarding April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and isn’t happy, while Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) grows suspicious when she finds Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) looking particularly close with Lewis Barton (Bradley Johnson).
