Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise confirms return of beloved character as he reunites with Kris Marshall

Filming for series four of Beyond Paradise is currently underway.

Outlander star Colin McFarlane has been spotted on the set of Beyond Paradise. One fan shared a snap to a Facebook fan page dedicated to Beyond Paradise.

The actor was all smiles as he posed alongside a fan. He was wearing dark brown trousers and a white vest top with a checked shirt over it. A microphone could also be seen attached to Colin’s vest top.

Colin was also spotted in another picture with Kris Marshall, who plays lead detective Humphrey Goodman. This time, it appears that Colin was dressed in character, as he wore a green gilet over his checked shirt and was carrying some sort of gardening gloves.

Kris was dressed in a white vest top, navy blue trousers, and brown shoes as they strolled on set together. The fan captioned the photo: “Kris in his best togs.”

While fans were excited to see some behind-the-scenes snaps, others noticed an exciting crossover as Colin has also appeared in Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise before.

Colin appeared in series four, episode six of Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise, and he played Anton Burrage.

The episode saw Kris as DI Goodman, and the team, who were under pressure to solve the murder of a volleyball player.

One fan commented on the page: “Looks like Selwyn’s volleyball friend from Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise with him.”

“Mr Barrage,” another replied.

Someone else added, “Oh, I like the actor with him. He’s usually really posh or very bad.”

“The guy with Kris was with him in DIP, too. In the volleyball episode,” one wrote.

In other news, Colin was recently honoured with an honorary degree from Loughborough University.

The 63-year-old British actor, writer, and producer who portrayed Gillian B. Loeb in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy was recognised by the institution where he completed his studies for his “outstanding contributions to the arts and his role in championing men’s health issues.”

Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
