You’ll Be VERY ANGRY When “Terrifying Craig” Reveals SHOCKING Information to Jack Branning in a “Disturbing” Scene.

Jack Branning learned the truth regarding his daughter Amy Mitchell on Thursday night’s episode of EastEnders. DC Craig Ingram, is aware that Amy was the one who attacked Joel Marshall earlier this year in an attack, grabbing a hammer and striking out after he mocked her.

But ever since she made the confession, Craig has set his sights on Amy, who is just days away from her 18th birthday, into some kind of relationship.

Earlier in the week, he was seen buying her drinks at the Queen Vic before kissing her. In the latest instalment of the long-running BBC soap, Craig summoned Jack to the cafe, who demanded to know what was going on.

Craig simply said: “Amy was the one who attacked Joel.” He then claimed he was “putting his neck on the line” for Jack, a fellow police officer, in not saying anything and then coldly claimed he was trying to protect the whole situation, especially because Jack’s partner Denise is going through a cancer battle.

Jack then returned to find Amy in floods of tears and he promised her he would sort the whole sorry mess out. Later on, Craig went back to Amy and reassured her that it was better that her dad knew the truth now and she promised that she was capable of “keeping a secret” before they kissed again.

Reacting to Craig’s latest scenes, one fan wrote on X: “Get lost creepy Craig, when Jack finds out he’ll absolutely kill him the dirty grooming shyster.”

Another said: “So Craig found a bit of a conscience I rate that but Jack still needs to KILL HIM,” and a third wrote: “The way Craig calls Jack “Family” implying he’s a “Great cop” who “Puts his neck on the line” made me laugh #EastEnders

“Putting your neck on the line is having a fling with girl who attacked Joel and is vulnerable – A good cop would’ve gone to the police as soon as Amy confessed not use it as leverage to get one up on Jack because you’re jealous of him. The way he used Denise in that cafe scene to gaslight Jack as well was vile!”

Recently, Amy tried to get information out of Craig about his investigation, and her anger towards Joel has lead many to believe that she might be responsible for his attack.

This in turn has led to a theory that Craig might take advantage of teenager Amy’s situation for nefarious purposes, with some suggesting he might “groom” her.

Fans also thought this might cause a major return to EastEnders for Rita Simon’s Roxy Mitchell. The character, who is Amy’s mum, was last seen almost 10 years ago, when she and her sister Ronnie (Samantha Womack) drowned on New Year’s Day 2017. Fans have often decried their exit as a mistake and begged the show to change it to a ‘faked death’ and bring them back.

The fan said: “And this brings me on to my real theory/wishful thinking: Roxy, who has been in witness protection, hears her daughter is in prison because of Max and returns to make him pay, holding his children at gunpoint so that he has to pick one to save.”

Another fan agreed: “This sounds very plausible, I think you could be right. The Amy and Craig thing has to be leading somewhere and I did wonder why Amy isn’t in the flashforward episode, and think Craig could be the one Max ‘kills’. Amy does seem to be hiding something doesn’t she.

“As for Roxy, i feel like there’s been so much talk about a possible return and a witness protection thing, and there was that scene recently of Amy looking at photos in the same episode as the Bea fake death thing, so I think Roxy could return for sure.”
