Axed EastEnders star Max Bowden reveals results of hair transplant after reuniting with Corrie star
AXED EastEnders star Max Bowden has revealed the results of his hair transplant after reuniting with Corrie actress Katie McGlynn.
The couple had a brief romance while starring together in touring play but split in December, however we recently revealed they were back together again.
Max shared a post on Instagram which showed off his new hair transplant after he had concerns about hair loss and approached The British Hair Clinic.
In the post the company said: “As an actor, versatility can be very important, and Max felt he wanted a stronger variation to work with when taking on roles.
“Now looking ahead to the results, Max says he’s excited by something many people take for granted.”
The Eastenders star said: “I’m just looking forward to having options again. Being able to go to the barber and ask for a hairstyle that’s actually feasible.”

Max also hopes the procedure will improve how he feels about himself and stop him focusing on his hair.
He explained: “I’m looking forward to looking in the mirror and not focusing on my hair all the time.
“I think it’s going to give me more confidence and a sense of freedom.”
He is also set to document his recovery and progress over the coming months, sharing updates with fans as he embarks on his hair restoration journey.

Max is best known for playing Ben Mitchell in BBC1 soap EastEnders, while Katie played Sinead Tinker on the Cobbles.
The pair met when they began starring in the play, Murder at Midnight, beginning a romance last October.
However, it was described as a ‘whirlwind’ relationship, which ended just months later before they were pictured were snogging again in the street in May.
Before her relationship with Max, Katie was in a couple with Towie star Ricky Rayment.
The couple split last June after two years of dating.
