The truth about Jodie could change EVERYTHING in Emmerdale — and fans are already in panic
Emmerdale and Coronation Street collided in an unprecedented ITV soap crossover earlier this year and fans were left delighted when Graham Foster returned

Emmerdale fans were sent into a frenzy earlier this year when Graham Foster seemingly ‘returned from the dead’ after six years away from screens.
In January, the worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale collided in an unprecedented soap crossover dubbed Corriedale, leaving viewers utterly gripped.
During the spectacular joint episode, audiences were dealt a jaw-dropping surprise when Graham — who had appeared to meet his end on Emmerdale back in 2020 — was spotted very much alive and well.
Donning a disguise, Graham was seen during a multi-vehicle crash on a remote road, where he had been transporting a mysterious woman named Jodie, who was bound in the back of his van before making her escape.
Graham had been contracted to deal with a problem on behalf of a powerful individual, but called off the job involving Jodie after realising how deeply he had missed Joe Tate and his former life in the village.

Since those dramatic scenes, Jodie was unmasked as Shona Platt’s sister and has become a familiar face on the cobbles — though she remains shrouded in mystery as she sets her sights on various residents of Weatherfield.
Speaking at a recent Emmerdale press event, Graham actor Andrew Scarborough offered a tantalising glimpse into Jodie’s backstory and the Corriedale events, saying: “I’m sure you will [find out soon]. It’s still all to come out.
“I think there’s been a bit of confusion. He wasn’t going to kill her. That wasn’t the job. He was taking her to somebody, then he realised this person was bad, so he sort of let her go. He had no intention of killing her.

“I think you do find out bits, and later on you’ll find out a bit more about the guys and who they were. But it was a good mechanism to get Graham back and cause a bit of intrigue. Hopefully it will resolve.”
Shedding light on the Corriedale storyline, Andrew explained: “He was paid to get her by a guy. He was probably told a lot of bunkum, because he did choose his jobs, which is why he tried to say to Rhona that he was working for a guy, then found out that this guy, who was powerful and rich, was not a nice guy.
“So, he thought this girl [Jodie] was bad. That was the insinuation, anyway. This girl was bad, so he was taking her, but then he found out that, actually, this guy who’s told me to take this bad girl is very bad, so I’m not going to do that, so I’ll let her go. I think that was the way it was meant to come across.”
Hinting at the fallout from Graham’s Corriedale decision, Andrew teased: “Yes. I think you’ll find out quite soon. There’s a repercussion. An action. You still don’t find out much about this chap, so hopefully that will come out at some point as well.”
