A number of long-running shows have been hit with schedule changes recently, including Death in Paradise, which has been bumped from its usual BBC One timeslot yet again.

Season 15 episode 6 of the murder mystery has been rescheduled due to an FA Cup tie between Wolves and Liverpool airing live this Friday (6 March), with coverage running from 7:45pm to 10pm.

Death in Paradise would usually air at 9pm on BBC One, but has instead been moved to Monday 9 March at 9pm.

However, if you can’t wait that long, you can watch it this Friday at 8:45pm on BBC iPlayer (that’s 15 minutes earlier than normal), as confirmed on Instagram.

After making a disastrous first impression on his half-brother Mervin, Solomon decided to remove himself from the equation and headed to Antigua, where he had some business to deal with.

But while the DI’s frustration with Solomon was valid, he also placed some of the blame for the breakdown of their brief relationship on himself.

So, with some encouragement from Naomi, Mervin decided to travel to the island to find him and smooth things over.

But that backfired spectacularly when he was seemingly taken hostage.

The official synopsis for episode 6 of season 15 is as follows: “Mervin stumbles across a crime scene when he goes in search of his brother Solomon on Antigua.

“In a remote cabin, a local businessman has been shot. But Solomon and his associate Cheech both swear the other is responsible, and they’re not letting Mervin go until each one has convinced him of their account.”

Episode 7 is currently set to air on Friday 13 March, as planned.

Death in Paradise airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
