Fans think they have finally clocked on to who is going to get sneaky Celia Daniels and nasty Ray Walters in trouble with the police – and it’s not April Windsor.
Local kingpins Celia and Ray have been causing havoc for the better part of a year at the Dales with their drug-dealing scheme. Yet, recently, their plan has started to fall apart at the seams.
Already, drug-mule April has caved into telling her dad, Marlon Dingle, about what she has been forced to do at the mercy of Celia and Ray’s wrath. Between Marlon and his wife, Rhona Goskirk, the pair have been desperately trying to form a plan to get their daughter out of trouble.
It has been speculated by fans for some time that, as a member of the ‘Dingle Mafia’, Marlon’s family might be able to resolve the whole ordeal. Many have called for Cain Dingle to step up to sort out the whole situation. However, after tonight’s episode, some fans think that it will be another character that brings the Celia/Ray empire crumbling down.

Tonight’s episode saw Bear Wolf – the estranged father of Paddy Kirk – suffer yet another injury, as he battles being a ‘modern slave’ to the drug-dealing duo. He had already broken his arm on a tractor when Bear approached Ray in tonight’s episode with a bleeding hand – eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot that this may be the checov’s gun that finally launches a police investigation.
Ray – with a soft spot for Bear – insisted to a begrudging Celia that the old man needed a hospital to prevent infection, but Celia shrugged the injury off.
Fans were quick to point out on ‘X’ that this injury might be the catalyst that finally gets the pair caught, instead of a confession from April or a battering from the Dingles. Matt528chap wrote: “The villagers when they find out what Ray and Celia have done to Bear, Dylan and April and also find out they k.i.l.l.e.d Anya through neglect before burying her with Moria’s blanket! Man New Year Week (when it’s all likely to come out) can’t come quick enough!”
Meanwhile, said @albags_2002: “Bear is about to be spotted at the hospital by friends.” And @RyanSoapKing25 wrote: “Surely the hospital would know who Bear is? Or they’d look up his medical record?”
Only time will tell if poor Bear’s injuries will be enough for officials to start looking into his case.
