🔥 Sistas Season 9 Premiere Recap & Review: No Time To Wait

The sisters are back, but does Season 9 start with a bang? Fans are already divided — and I gave this episode a 4/10. Let’s break down what worked, what didn’t, and what’s next.

💔 Karen’s Hospital Ordeal

The standout storyline centers on Karen’s pregnancy crisis, with Fatima (of all people!) stepping up as her rock. After a chaotic trip through blackout-ridden Atlanta, Fatima and Karen finally make it to an overcrowded hospital.
➡️ The tension here was real: nurses were dismissive, Karen’s pain was downplayed, and her fever rose. Even Karen admitted: “Something just doesn’t feel right.”
➡️ Fatima staying by Karen’s side — despite all the past insults — was a powerful Good Samaritan moment that fans noticed.

Miss Lisa arrived, Aaron came in (clueless but hopeful with balloons), and things ended ominously as everyone noticed blood on Karen’s blanket.

😍 Best Scene: Andy & Zac

The unlikely chemistry between Andy and Zac was one of the highlights. Seeing them in such a friendly, supportive place after years of tension was refreshing — and even a little flirty.
✅ They comforted each other, reflected on how far they’ve come, and shared some light humor.
🤔 Some fans even speculate about a spark — but personally, I don’t see it going there.

🤦 Worst Part: Sabrina & Rich

The Sabrina/Rich/Penelope drama felt forced and repetitive. Sabrina dumped Rich, then caught him in bed with Penelope hours later and threw a fit.
✔️ He rightly pointed out she broke up with him — yet she acted like she still owned him.
This storyline dragged and could have been cut to make room for more important moments.

❌ Pacing — way too much filler and repetition.
❌ Sabrina/Rich scenes that went nowhere.
❌ Lack of Robin or payoff on the feds storyline.
❌ Hospital scenes could have been even more intense.
