Sneak Peak of Tyler Perry’s Ruth & Boaz Coming To Netflix On September 26th

Okay, folks — the Tyler Perry news train just keeps on rolling!

As you know, this Friday we’ve got Madea’s Destination Wedding hitting screens. But even before that drops, we already have a sneak peek of another upcoming project: ROF and Boaz: R&B, coming to Netflix on September 26.

Wow — time really is flying! That’s a Friday, and before you know it, we’ll be feeling that October chill in the air. But clearly, Tyler Perry’s team isn’t wasting a second with this rollout. The clip was posted by Devon Franklin himself, and if you didn’t know, he plays Pastor Jeff in Divorced Sisters. He and Tyler Perry have a partnership going, working together on a number of Christian-based movies, shows, and other projects.

That’s the thing about Tyler Perry — you see the actors on camera, but so many of them are making big moves behind the scenes too. Love to see it.

Now, as for the clip itself: I won’t play it here (you know, copyright and all that), but it’s already circulating on plenty of social media platforms. This film is reportedly music-based — originally titled RMBB — and is described as a modern-day Ruth and Boaz story. And get this: Babyface is involved in the music production. That alone lets you know the soundtrack is going to be fire.

On top of that, the legendary Felicia Rashad is in the cast as well!

The scene we see in the clip features Tyler Lepley, who plays Boaz. He’s up on the roof fixing something while a group of women watch from below — one of them holding a tray of tea or drinks. You can tell they’re all pretty smitten. Boaz comes down, they hand him a drink, and even though it looks like he and ROF aren’t on the best of terms, the two of them go off on a walk. Definitely feels like the start of something interesting.

It’s also great to see Tyler Perry continuing to collaborate with so many familiar faces across his projects. Tyler Lepley, for example, is also working on another film with Devale Ellis called The Old Gray Mare. Even though P-Valley’s return date is still up in the air, it’s good to see Lepley staying booked and busy.

That’s all I’ve got for now on this clip. If you come across any other news about this film — or any of Tyler Perry’s many projects — feel free to send them my way!

As always, don’t forget to like and subscribe — it really helps the channel grow. Follow me on social media for updates, and I’ll catch you all in the next video!
