John and Mack ‘fake death’ twist after damning photo discovery

Emmerdale fans have predicted a dramatic Mack and John ‘fake death’ twist after a damning photo was discovered at the end of tonight’s episode.

Tonight’s episode of the ITV soap ended with Mackenzie Boyd, played by actor Lawrence Robb, discovering a photo album with a picture of John Sugden with a man he knows was involved with Nate’s death. The other man in the photo, Ben, was a removal driver who Nate had hired before his death.

John, Nate’s killer, was standing arm in arm with Ben in the photo, both wearing a military uniform, with the caption ‘John and Ben, Brothers in Arms’. Mack looked alarmed when he discovered the photo.

Fans have been quick to post on X with their theories. @rednwhite99 said: “I’m hoping John thinks he has killed Mack, we the audience are to believe Mack’s dead but really Mack survives [and] contacts Robert and they set John up to be caught.”

@Tech_Dino_45 said: “Just thought of a fun scene. John kidnaps Mack Aaron & Rob. He leaves them alone for awhile. Aaron & Rob start to talk. Mack has to alternate between mediator when they argue & grossed out when they get all mushy & reminiscent.”
