Emmerdale fans believe that Tracy Robinson will be k.i.l.l.e.d off after 11 years in a shock John Sugden twist.

Soap viewers will know that John (Oliver Farnworth) is responsible for Nate Robinson’s (Jurell Carter) death following last year’s barn fire.

The villain injected Nate with a mystery substance that was supposed to “save” him, yet the drug had an adverse effect and Nate tragically passed away.

A flashback revealed John transporting Nate’s body to a bridge and dumping the hidden remains into the waters below.

More than eight months after the fire at the barn, Nate’s body was pulled out of the lake, leading the police to identify two prime suspects, reports Belfast Live.

Nate’s dad, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), faced initial suspicion due to a row he had with Nate on his last day in the village.

However, blame soon shifted towards Nate’s spouse, Tracy (Amy Walsh), when John planted Nate’s mobile in her daughter Frankie’s (Eden Ratcliffe-Knights) playhouse.

With incriminating evidence mounting, Tracy pleaded with her sister, Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), to tell the police that they were together on the night Nate d.i.e.d, despite not remembering where she was that day.

Things took a dark turn when DS Walsh (Amanda Ryan) arrested Tracy on suspicion of m.u.r.d.e.r after Vanessa failed to provide the alibi, as she was scared about the repercussions.

Last week, Cain asked Tracy about funeral arrangements for Nate, but she insisted she could only afford a “bog-standard” cremation. Still believing Cain k.i.l.l.e.d her husband, Tracy also said that her father-in-law wasn’t welcome at the send-off.

Eventually, Vanessa stepped in to foot the bill for a fitting send-off, leading to Tracy and vicar Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) arranging the memorial this week.

On Monday (June 23), Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) attempted to persuade Tracy to allow Cain a final moment with his son, yet Tracy’s frustration resulted in disinviting the entire Dingle clan.

“Did I not make it perfectly clear? I don’t want him anywhere near,” Tracy asserted strongly.

The next day saw Belle urging Vanessa to intervene, but Tracy was unwavering in her stance.

“I know it’s not easy. But the more I think about it, the more I know I’ve made the right decision,” Tracy confided in her sister.

“I let Nate down when he was alive, I wasn’t the wife he deserved. This is my last chance to do something for him, so it’s got to be about Nate and Frankie, no one else.”

As the m.u.r.d.e.r investigation continues, several Emmerdale fans are theorising that Tracy might become John’s next victim.

“I think John could definitely k.i.l.l Tracy if she starts to suspect him over Cain,” suggested one person on a Facebook fan group.

Echoing the sentiment, another stated: “Yes I agree with this, she is definitely in the firing line,” and a third cautioned: “Tracy should watch her back.”

A fourth fan shared their thoughts, remarking: “Now John’s part of the Dingle family and they’ve been barred from the funeral, he could take revenge. Tracy is definitely in danger going forward.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and is available to stream from 7am on ITVX
